The 2010 - 2011 Entertainment Books are in!
Chestertown Rotary has just received our order of new Entertainment Books for sale and distribution.
This effort is one of our main fund raisers of the year. Our success in selling and distributing these books helps to provide funding for the many things that we support during our fiscal year, including but not limited to student scholarships, exchange student support, aid to families in need and home heating assistance during the winter months.
You are encouraged to support the annual effort and share the savings with your friends and neighbors. Each book costs only $30.00 but when used can provide savings of many times more than its initial cost.
A couple of hints on how to make the entertainment book work for you include:
- Keeping it in your car so it is readily accessible when you out shopping and want lunch or dinner in Queensbury, Bolton Landing, Glens Falls, Lake George or other surrounding areas.
- Using it to help guests experience our area when they visit. There are money saving coupons for the Lake George Steamboat Company, The Adirondack Museum at Blue Mountain Lake or a free admission to a ride on the Upper Hudson Scenic Railroad in North Creek.
- Using it for recreation with a discount of up to $20 on a $100 purchase at Dick's Sporting Goods or visiting a new golf course like High Peaks Golf Course in Newcomb or The Ticonderoga Country Club.
- Using it for that oil change at Valvoline or tires at Firestone
Once you have purchased an Entertainment Book and registered on-line, you can get additional money saving coupons to businesses not listed in the book.
To get a new Entertainment Book and help support your local community, contact any member of the Chestertown Rotary Club. They will gladly assist you getting a book to start your savings on purchases made in our area.
