ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT for 2011

Last year's tournament was held on schedule, and was considered by all to have been a huge success. The weather could not have been better, and there was not a single fly in the ointment! We even discovered how creative our entrants can be, when it was suggested by one that his team wanted to use all their "Muligans" on the "hole in one to win a boat" tee box! (Sorry, not allowed.)

This year's event ...

DATE: Saturday, August 20, 2011.

PLACE: Cronin's Golf Resort

TIME: 12 PM Lunch - 1 PM "Shotgun" Start

Food Included: Lunch at Noon and a complete steak dinner following golf!!

COST: $70.00 per person; make checks payable to "Chestertown Rotary" and give to any Rotary member or mail to Cliff Bouchard at 12 Pine Lane, Adirondack, NY 12808

FORMAT: Four Person Scramble - three flights (men, women and mixed); Putting Contest, the Hole-in-One prize is a motor boat valued costing more than $17,500 and lots of Door Prizes!!!

Proceeds Benefit Chestertown Community Projects and the Chestertown Rotary Scholarship Fund.

How does Rotary earn money from the tournament?

How can you help Rotary with it's charitable work?

Rotary earns money from the Golf Tournament in three (3) ways:

1. A portion of the $70.00 entry fee is retained thanks to the generosity of Cronin's,

2. We sell Raffle Tickets that are drawn at the Outing. Tickets sell for $25.00.

Prizes are:
- (1st) AAA Travel Package - Value $1800 Trip for two (2); Cruise or Air
- (2nd) Set of custom made Golf Clubs; made by John Cronin
- (3rd) a $200 bankcard.

3. We sell "T" and Green sponsor signs - $50.00 per sign.
Local businesses and individuals/families buy the signs.

You can buy one or more Sponsor Signs!!!
