The Chestertown Rotary Announces the

 2008 Scholarship

The Chestertown Rotary is very pleased to announce the establishment of a $3000.00 scholarship to be awarded in May, 2008.  This scholarship is open to any North Warren High School Graduate, senior, those being home schooled or those attending an alternative secondary school such as BOCES.  All candidates must currently reside within the North Warren School District.  Applications are available from the links below.  This years scholarship is being presented in the name of a past Rotary Charter Member, Tom McPhillips.  Tom passed away in Sept. 2007 after many years of active participation in Rotary.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Cliff Bouchard @ 494-7537 or any other member of the Chestertown Rotary.  The Chestertown Rotary meets every Tuesday night, 6:00PM, at OP Frederick’s Restaurant in Chestertown.  Everyone is welcome to attend a meeting and to find out what Rotary is all about.

The 2007 Winner was Arthur Cleveland, a 2007 graduate of North Warren who is currently attending Clinton Community College.
